Small Town Main Street Program

As a Main Street America Affiliate™, the Town of Pittsboro is part of a national network of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and communities who share both a commitment to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development.

The Town of Pittsboro was selected to receive assistance from the North Carolina Main Street Program to encourage downtown economic development. The Pittsboro Program is a downtown business driven project already receiving broad stakeholder involvement. The three pillars of the program are economic development, promotion and design.

If you have expertise in any of these areas or if you just want to see Pittsboro's downtown be the best that it can be please get involved with the program. It's not too late to get engaged.
