Skeleton Story Time

Spooky, scary skeletons are all the rage for Halloween! Join us for story time and exploration, led by our Parks and Recreation Coordinator! We will be reading Bonaparte Falls Apart and creating a skeleton craft. No registration required. All ages welcome but geared towards ages 0-5.
Creepy Critters

Often out of sight and mind, let’s learn about the creepy critters in nature! Explore how bugs, spiders, bats, and more are an important part of everyday life through activities and crafts. No registration required.
The Great Pumpkin Hunt

Pick your pumpkin along the trails then paint and decorate your pretty pumpkin for a BOOtiful fall vibe! In this laid-back evening of arts and crafts, kids will explore their creativity while decorating a seasonal pumpkin of their own unique design. Pumpkins and all materials will be provided. All you need to bring is you! Registration required; space limited and parents must attend with their children.
Owl Investigation

Learn about the wonderful world of owls! Dissecting an owl pellet is a great way to learn about the different organisms play in the world. Dissect an owl pellet, learn about the food chain and create an owl craft. Registration required; space limited and parents must attend with their children.

Mummies, vampires, Frankenstein and more! Let’s make crafts based off of things that go bump in the night. Make a monster wreath, popsicle crafts, ghosts, and more. No registration required.
Mad Scientist & Witches Brew

Warlocks, witches and mad scientists, oh my! When you think of Halloween, you might think of mad scientist or creating a witch's brew.
